Mike and Heather Swett, the owners of the French Quarter Grill in Niceville, are no newcomers to the restaurant business. Mike's father owned and operated a family restaurant in New Hampshire for many years, so his passion for cooking started at an early age. Mike learned the in's and out's of the restaurant business while working in a variety of restaurants over the years, and eventually became an assistant kitchen manager for O'Charley's in Nashville, where he lived for several years.

Mike and Heather met at the Lucky Snapper Restaurant in Destin, where Heather was the restaurant manager, and Mike was a line supervisor. They bought the French Quarter Grill in June of 2004, and have dedicated themselves to turning it into one of the most sought-after dining establishments on the Emerald Coast. It's a full-time job for Mike, and a true labor of love. His dedication to his customers always shows through. Heather juggles her real estate career at RE/MAX Coastal Properties during the day with helping her husband at night, and can almost always be found by his side in the restaurant. As the proud owners of the French Quarter Grill, Mike and Heather want to thank everyone for all the help and support they've received to make their dreams come true. With no children of their own (just a couple of wonderful cats!), this restaurant really is their baby!
